Dining room location in correlation with whole house location arrangement generally will connect to fengshui issue. Dining room, known as house heart is a place where all family members get on together.

Because of this, it is important to fulfill dining room with "YANG" energy like bright color of wall (paint or wallpaper), and music. Avoid to place dining room furniture that can create too much of "YIN" energy, which can lead to serious unlucky.

Ideally dining room is placed between family room and the kitchen which is close by the center of house.
